Owner and founder of Dare to Dream Event Management, she is a Certificated Wedding Planner and Certified Event Designer with over 25 years of experience. Her passion for event design and planning shows in every event she creates.
Over the past quarter century, Cheryl has worked with a wide array of clients from “Pop-Up” picnics (the perfect way to surprise your someone special!) to high-profile events honoring professional athletes including an NFL Super Bowl champion and NBA basketball player. Weddings, birthday parties, graduations, baby showers, retirement parties - no event it too big or too small. Her natural talent for business and an unwavering work ethic have helped her business to thrive.
Earlier this year, Dare to Dream Event Management was a recipient of the prestigious Minority Owned Business Of Distinction Award from the Greater Topeka Partnership.
Cheryl Clark was born, raised and educated in Topeka, Kansas and has put down deep roots in her community.
Cheryl volunteers a great deal of her time in the community in various capacities. Currently she serves on Women’s Minority Business Development Board. Previously, she served on the Kansas Black Expo Board from 2004-2006 as the Director of the Parade & Battle of the Bands. Additionally, she has held various positions at her church as the Event Planner, Marketing Director, Public Relations Coordinator for over 15 years and a youth teacher/mentor to young girls. She has served on the USD 501 Citizens Advisory Committee.
Happily married for 27 years and the mother of two young men and a grandmother to a perfect grandson, she loves travelling, spending time with her family and making a difference in the lives of others.
